About GADEC
Our Story
Mission
To transform history, heritage, and creativity into world-class performances and cultural experiences that inspire global audiences and advance Africa's cultural diplomacy.
Vision
To be Africa's most trusted cultural intelligence and performance production company — the first name governments, embassies, and international institutions think of when culture must meet diplomacy.
History
GADEC is not a theatre company. It is a cultural intelligence and performance production company that designs cultural experiences, curates exhibitions, trains performers, manages productions, creates historical reenactments, and produces national ceremonies. Its work includes the reenactment of the Transatlantic Slave Trade at Osu Castle for the NEXT STEPS Reparations Summit — a production delivered for ambassadors, ministers, and international dignitaries.
